Able Spirit
BIOGRAPHY
Able Spirit (Adam Trull) found his start in music as a self-taught, funk and jazz trumpet player. In playing with and taking influence from such bands as funk band "Sweet Motha' Child" (created and led by George Clinton keyboardist Danny Bedrosian), hip-hop, funk mob "Boombazi", roots-reggae band "iLa Mawana", and the mentor-ship of producer Jon Picken, Able Spirit was born in 2009 in Queens, NY out of the sheer necessity to create music that he, and hopefully many more, would like to hear. This first recording, "Past the Boiling Point", features guitar solo work by John Deming and pays homage to those musical influences that have helped shape his sound and opens the door for a first full-length album expected in late Autumn of 2010.

Past the Boiling Point(2010)
"Past the Boiling Point" is an experimental, melody-driven, electronic, hip-hop infused album. The songs focus upon looping electronic “pulses” or centralized melodies merged with hook-vocals that unintentionally linger in your subconscious, hours after listening. "Past the Boiling Point's" lyrics and content discusses numerous philosophic and political issues.
